Pisa & Lucca

The Leaning Tower of Pisa. The tower is almost 200 ft tall and leaning at a 5 degree angle. It started leaning right after being built, opps someone did something wrong. The boys trying to push the Tower…….. just a little off.

Ok– that’s better.

Jonah outside the Duomo built in the 1100s.

“Help!!! I think I’m being chocked. “

Some poor tourist was recruited to take a picture of all of us.

Our favorite part about Lucca was the 2.5 mile bike ride around the Renaissance wall. We had so much fun we had to do it twice. The wall has been standing for over 2000 years and surrounds the city.

Taking a break from the bike ride on the wall. I wish I had a fluorescent yellow bike in real life πŸ™‚

The dog got a work out running beside us. There was a dog show along the path with all these barking dogs. Saffron just ran on by.

After the bike ride we walked around Lucca and happened upon this parade celebrating some guy. (He’s plastic) But everyone seemed moved and was singing.

This picture doesn’t do justice but this kid gets the”Coolest Mullet Ever” Award.

Nothing like a crazy huge Margaretta pizza for dinner.

  1. Good try, Jonah! You just need to grow a little bit taller and you will climb the pillar in a snap…The bike ride looked so fun! Love, Grandma
