Assisi, Spello, Perugia (Umbria)

YUM!!!

The town Square in Perugia. This is a happening town. It is a college town and also hosts a yearly Chocolate Festival.

Assissi – St. Francis founded the Franciscan religion in 1208 here. Thousands come to pay tribute to St. Francis, which means lots and lots of tour buses!

  1. Assissi was one of our stops when I toured Italy years ago, and I loved this town. I would love to go back someday. I remember the roads being really steep, maybe that would be a good workout!!
