Our family was accommodated in a spacious two-bedroom suite, thoughtfully designed with connecting doors for privacy and two balconies that offered stunning views of the Swiss Alps. Watching the sunset from our balconies on our first evening was nothing short of magical. The suite itself was modern and luxurious, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed, a sleek walk-in shower, and a beautifully appointed bathroom that made every moment feel indulgent.
Our evening began with a drink at the hotel’s stylish bar before heading to Le 1913, Villars Palace’s signature restaurant. This dining experience was truly exceptional. We were seated at a prime table where we could watch the chef artfully plate each dish—a unique touch that added to the intimate atmosphere. The servers were incredibly polite and attentive, while the sommelier impressed us with his extensive knowledge, pairing each course with exquisite wines.
The menu was a celebration of Alpine and Mediterranean flavors, and every dish was as visually stunning as it was delicious. I started with a delicate cauliflower appetizer followed by a perfectly cooked duck breast, while my husband enjoyed a flavorful veal chop, and our daughter savored a beautifully presented chicken dish. Each plate showcased impeccable technique and creativity, making this meal one of the highlights of our stay.
